Newcastle Knights 2001
Newcastle knights had a pretty good year. When Andrew Johns was injured we had some touble. We got to the semi finals at 3rd place so that means we had a home semi. The semi was against the Roosters. The Knights won that game 40-6. The next week we had off, then we had to come up against Sharks to see who was going to the grand final. We won that game 18-10 so we were there.The next day Paramatta just beat the Broncos.The two teams played bad. The score was 24-16. So the grand final was played at Homebush Bay, Sydney. The two teams were Newcastle Knights and Parramatta Eels. Paramatta were favorites to win. The game started at 8pm on the Sunday. The first half was won by Newcastle and the second half by Parramatta.
The full time score was 30-24
